Chudo Master (TZ) Litungu Blues T-Africa (TZ) Contemporary Dance Experience a special Marafiki Pop-Up edition of Jumatano Groove featuring an evening of both live music and contemporary dance. Taking the stage is Chudo Master, a Tanzanian musician and percussionist known for his unique “Litungu Blues” sound, blending traditional East African rhythms with Delta and Louisiana blues influences. A dynamic live performer and sought-after percussionist, Chudo brings soulful grooves and rich musical storytelling shaped by collaborations and festival appearances across East Africa and beyond. The night will also feature a powerful dance performance titled “Suffering” by T-Africa. Through expressive contemporary movement, the piece explores struggle, oppression, perseverance, and the loneliness that can come with chasing one’s dreams.
